Description
One of the most well-known ships in the world is the Calypso. The inventor and oceanographer Jacques-Yves Cousteau owned it. We decided to build a wooden model of the Calypso in honor of the renowned scientist.
We made an effort to accurately replicate the small elements of Calipso when creating our model of the research yacht
Almost all specialized equipment can be moved, including rotating-propeller helicopters, miniature submarines that are lowered using a winch, and anchors that are raised using a “chain.”
Additionally, the model contains a special hand mechanism that propels the boat. It can go 3–4 meters on a level surface, thanks to the wheels.
A unique wooden 3D model from WoodTrick to add to your collection is the Ocean Exploration Yacht. All Jacques-Yves Cousteau’s admirers and those who enjoy yachting and marine exploration will enjoy this model. If you follow the directions strictly, assembling it won’t be challenging.
You don’t need to be concerned about the environment being harmed because all of the materials we use to make the model are safe. Rubber bands, toothpicks, and wooden pieces make up this 3-D wooden model.
Our model now has several qualities with a nautical theme. For instance, because Calypso is a research vessel, you can view particular research equipment on board. Many of Jacques-Yves Cousteau’s ship’s instruments were his creations, and they have always been there.
The finished model will look great on your table or shelf and make a wonderful gift for puzzle enthusiasts!
